Pop-Up Ashlynn...

It was so cool that later during her stay, Ashlynn managed to visit one of The Tint’s pop-up stores where she picked up one of the printed lookbooks...
...and saw herself on the wall.
I also found additional photos of her in one of the stores featured on The Tint’s Instagram page.
Yes, it’s true that Ashlynn laughs at me for wasting time stalking her on Instagram, but when I come across photos like these it’s totally worth it.

First Korean Lookbook...

In addition to the many photos taken for their e-commerce site, Ashlynn shot her first Korean lookbook, in this case for a printed brochure of a variety of styles with an artsy flair.
Although Ashlynn is clearly the main focus, don’t be surprised when you don’t recognize her in a few of the images in the digital lookbook as it also features another model.

Quick Change Artist...

Ashlynn’s next job was for the brand The Tint.
After spending a ridiculous amount of time straightening a wavy wig...
...they decided to just use Ashlynn’s natural wavy hair and add some freckles.
Shockingly, Ashlynn changed into 31 different outfits that day plus several variations of the same outfit including different colors or adding jackets.
Luckily for her, she had a lot of flexibility in her posing which she said is more fun than just a straight e-commerce catalog shoot of the front, sides and back of the clothes.
The sets were simple, but still varied.
There were also some basic accessories such as glasses...
...hats...
...and boots.
The brand clearly forgot to consult with a native English speaker when coming up with their motto of the collection: Unfeminine but elegant. High end but easy. Keep to the basic but design evolution.

Modeling Korean Clothes...

Ashlynn’s next job was for the online shopping site for the brand LeBeige, owned by Samsung Fashion.
Perhaps something was lost in translation, but their website says: LeBeige seeks to deliver satisfaction to the members of the beige generation appreciative of distinct style and beauty.
Some of the clothes were much more western than others.

Technology Wasn’t Made for Trail...

Not sure what the name of this installation was, but it definitely intrigued Jimmy and made for a good photo stop...
...where he definitely enjoyed hamming it up.
At least he waited for me to finally show up so we could pose for a photo as well.
In fact, the whole pack waited to take a group photo. We often joke that cell phones don’t belong at the hash, but then use them to take photos. I also use mine to take notes for down-downs during the circle at the end. Afterwards we enjoyed homemade split pea soup back at Derek and Abbie’s.

Amsterdam Light Festival Hash...

We had an excellent turnout for this annual hash on an unseasonably warm January night.
As in previous years, Derek provided glow sticks which we could use to make decorations such as necklaces.
Not sure he had this particular necklace in mind.
It’s hard to tell, but we’re showing off our Starry Night FILTH H3 buffs while posing in front of The Starry Night installation.
Here we are posing as a rainbow...
...and as a random group.

A Strange Show...

Here are the remaining images from the editorial entitled A Strange Show. I especially love this shot in a Givenchy dress and Stuart Weizman boots...
...and this one in Saint Laurent.
Here she is in Valentino...
...Celine...
...and Prada. In addition to the 12-page printed editorial, Noblesse posted two short videos. It was especially cool that this one used Cirque de Soleil’s Toruk: The First Flight, the show that I took Ashlynn to last year, as a backdrop.
