Fall in the Japanese Garden...

On October 28, Sally and I did a walk through the Haagse Bos...

…and Clingendael Park...

...to reach our main destination: the Japanese Garden to see the fall leaves.

We were clearly not the only ones with that idea...

…but amazingly still managed to take some shots not filled with people.

This is my favorite shot, taken from under the canopy of leaves (must admit this wasn’t my idea, but watching another photographer has changed how I photograph trees).

It was nice of this crane to pose just as we were leaving the garden.

 

Hashing in Eindhoven...

The October Brabant H3 trail was in Eindhoven. Along the way to the hares’ house, we came across these giant bowling pins...

…a nice reflection of a church...

…and some urban art.

It was a beautiful fall day with bright blue skies for our beer stop in the park.

Opee and Waaah couldn’t resist climbing this big structure.

Pink borrowed a bike and enjoyed solving a bunch of the checks. I enjoyed finding this reflection of the beautiful fall leaves. 
 

Spotted on a Pub Crawl...

Opee hared a pub crawl for the FILTH’s World Peace Through Beer trail starting at his office in The Hague. Along the trail we spotted some urban art...

…and several fashion displays including a fancy one at a hotel...

…a digital display on the stairs to the big movie theater complex...

…and one at a lingerie store. Opee couldn’t resist commenting on the bra party. 

 

A Rare Dramatic Sunset...

We dropped Terri off in the city center so she could catch a train back to The Hague and then did a final cruise around the canals to take in the dramatic sunset.

 

Fall Colors in Leiden...

While we didn’t see extremely dramatic fall colors in our area, it was still a very colorful day...

…with still waters making for lots of lovely reflections.

Jimmy had managed to attached some basic lights on the front of Bootjuh, which made for dramatic colors in the tunnel.
 

Terri on Bootjuh...

On October 17, Terri took the train to Voorschoten so we could walk to Leiden...

…where we joined Jimmy for a ride on Bootjuh.

Terri had heard plenty about our little floating bathtub and could finally enjoy a cruise around the beautiful canals of Leiden herself. 

Jimmy planned ahead for the fall weather by bringing along some blankets...

…which came in very useful.
