It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that I’m happy that Inauguration Day is finally here. I think these Capitol Hell postcards I found in a Dutch restaurant and the descriptions on their backs sum up these last 8 years pretty well. First, there’s Dickula: Arguably the creepiest villain in film history, Dickula prepares to administer a fatal Colinoscopy.Then there’s Doctor Jerkyll: Defying transformation plot convention, Dr. Jerkyll smirks, drinks the wrong formula and remains Dr. Jerkyll.
As part of their farewell celebration, we’re serving Bush Creek wine and Fat Bastard bubbly. Somehow I truly doubt I’ll be doing a similar entry four years from now. Here’s to: YES WE CAN!
