School Sports Day...

Ashlynn was happy that she could compete in several activities at Sports Day this year. Her teams won their football game and relay race. I showed up in time to see the kids set off on the cross country 5K race. Ashlynn came in 2nd (1st girl as well as 1st in Y8) when she unexpectedly beat Andrew. Turns out the front of the group missed an important turn because the teacher in charge of that spot had stepped away. Luckily Ashlynn had figured out her mistake and turned around. Poor Andrew just kept running and ended up going 6K further than he should.
