Leiden Boat Parade...

My first big outing after getting out of the hospital was to head to Leiden with Jimmy to watch the Leiden Boat Parade. As usual, we found somewhere to sit along a further out canal and picnicked while watching the wide variety of decorated boats go past.

Heineken made us laugh as they attempted to pass out beers using a ridiculously long plastic pole with a tray of beers at the end. Too bad they were a few inches too far away for Jimmy to reach.

Thought this stand-up giant paddle board was pretty cool.

Liked the fancy costumes on the front of the October 3 Liberation Day boat.
