More Greenhouse Dining...

It was a blustery day in late August when Carlin and I donned our matching Herdy face masks (she gave me mine as a birthday gift) for the train ride to Amsterdam. 

We had originally planned on sharing the four-person larger greenhouse at Mediamatic as two couples, but when it turned out that Ashlynn would be around, it was hard not to request to squeeze her in for such an incredible vegan dining experience. 

The big difference this time was that we chose to do the drink pairing after just having wine last time. Drinks ranged from Prosecco to beer to wine to a gin sour cocktail. 

While the menu supposedly changes daily due to locally sourcing fresh ingredients, we discovered that there was little variation in what we were served other than the dessert wasn’t as interesting. Most likely, since guests probably wouldn’t normally eat there twice within one month, there’s no need to change the menu drastically daily. And, since we loved it the first time, we had no qualms sharing the experience with the others.
