Back to Virtual Hashing...

By mid-October, the Netherlands was back on lockdown with restaurants and bars closed once again. Sports groups were limited to four (either inside or out), so the hash moved back to doing virtual trails. For the FILTH H3 on October 24, Opee led me astray as he was determined to bring a beer stop to quarantined Tasty Piss, who had recently tested positive for COVID-19 (likely infected at her kickboxing class), and Boar Whore, who amazingly never caught it.
Of course, we had to avoid contact with them, so Boar Whore lowered down a bag attached to a rope..
...in which Opee placed two beers.
The four of us could then enjoy drinking a beer together, safely separated by more than a story.
It was a longer run than usual, but it was for a good cause.
One week later, we did a special Halloween FILTH H3 Hash. Ironically, earlier that day I had spotted what appeared to be a hash trail in our neighborhood. At first glance I thought this might be a booby check, but later figured it was actually a set of eyes.
We found a series of arrows that eventually led back to the start. We asked a homeowner that had a mark just outside her house if she knew what was going on and she said she thought it was part of a treasure hunt for a kid’s birthday party.
Mama’s Bitch enjoyed hashing with us.
We continued to run through town. Along the way we spotted this tuba flower pot...
…and these strange sculptures combining bowling balls and animals.
We stopped for a beer break at a snack bar...
…and then went through the shopping district, where we spotted these witches.
During our Zoom circle, we donned these masks—we have no memory of who gave them to us—to become Two Trumps for Biden as our Halloween costumes.
