We’re always happy that our list of highs is much longer than our list of lows:
* Travel: France, Germany, Belgium, US, Denmark and Sweden
* Home leave: Thrilled that our bonds of friendship are still strong, sleepovers at Layko’s and Sparano’s, building sandcastles in Jax, performing 12th Night with Grandma and Grandpa, alone time in Catalina, seeing old friends in San Diego
* Furnishing our Dutch dollhouse
* Easter and Christmas at the Chateau
* Seeing The Mona Lisa (although Ashlynn thought it was too small)
* Mudrucking at Mont St Michel
* Legoland in Denmark
* Dutch Nash Hash at Duinrell with Jim & Carolyn and German Nash Hash in Koblenz
* Harry Potter release party
* Veronica: 4-day school trip to the Ardennes, 1st speaking part in the school play of Olivia, Tudor Day, learning to play violin by ear, working on pop-up book with David
* Ashlynn: A-B-C swim diplomas, learning to dive, Pirate Day
* Jimmy: Took over controls of C-130 plane with 70 passengers aboard (and they all lived to tell the tale), photographing a Chick Corea concert
* Favorite Restaurants Visited: #2 Dragons Elysees Chinese with koi ponds under the floor in Paris, and #1 Estro Armonico for romantic dining in Antwerp
* Favorite Museum Visited: National Museum in Copenhagen
