Off to England...

After taking the overnight ferry from Hoek van Holland to Harwich, we caught a train to Cambridge in order to avoid the insanity of London associated with the London 2012 Olympics. We dropped off our luggage, then caught a bus into the center. We wandered through the market where Jimmy stopped to get a haircut. After grabbing some lunch, we went punting on the River Cam through Cambridge University.
Jimmy enjoyed standing on the end of this flat bottom boat and pushing off the river bottom with a long pole. He nearly fell overboard at least six times, but managed to stay on board. Ashlynn took a turn and also managed to stay on the boat.
We eventually caught a train to Peterborough, where we picked up our rental car. We were shocked when we were given the keys to a BMW. We were also shocked when we arrived at Alconbury Air Force Base to discover that we were staying in a 3-bedroom home that is nicer than our house in the Netherlands.
