In addition to two Farewell Hashes (one in Amsterdam and another in Utrecht), Steve and Patti hosted a party at their house in their tiny village outside of Utrecht before the movers came to pack them up for their move to Virginia.
Just behind their house was a new swan family, which John was excited to photograph on his new camera.
When Ashlynn heard we were going to a house party, she volunteered to bring her DJ deck and provide the music, which was a big hit.
She did some quick training so that Jimmy could take over when she left to catch the last bus to the station so she could meet friends for dancing in Amsterdam.
Jimmy, Kati and I spent the night, so Jimmy continued to spin tunes until the wee hours.
