Overnight Stay in Glasgow...

The day after Dutch Nash Hash, we caught a flight to Glasgow for an overnight stay (although our destination was actually Edinburgh, it was cheaper to fly into Glasgow, stay overnight and take a train the next day). After dropping our stuff at the hotel, we headed to The Pot Still, a whisky bar dating back to 1886, in search of vegan haggis pot pies. Unfortunately, they were out, so instead we had to choose between their 700 whiskies...
...to have a wee dram.
We then set out for a place that specializes in pies and they were closed. To make matters worse, it started to pour and I discovered that my otherwise waterproof shoes had holes in the sole. We eventually found somewhere to eat...
...then took a subway across town to an outdoor store to buy new shoes.
Eventually we made it back across town to meet up with William, an Amsterdam hasher who is from Glasgow and had arrived that same day to visit family. He was quite excited to show us some of his favorite haunts, including The Scotia, the oldest pub in Glasgow built in 1792.
