Jimmy’s 55th...

It was a beautiful spring day on Jimmy’s 55th birthday, the first of three birthdays that we celebrated together within The White House Commune. It was convenient that we had our own group since the Dutch government had banned gatherings of more than two outside of the family. 

Our celebration started with cocktails on the terrace (which we affectionately referred to as the lido deck).

Jimmy enjoyed sharing his Hawaiian shirts with the boys. 

Ashlynn and I cooked both a vegetarian and a vegan lasagna for dinner.   

She and Bjarne, our resident bartenders, were in charge of cocktails. 

Veronica and Ashlynn made a lopsided but delicious carrot cake.
