Entertainment at Warwick Castle...

We watched several bird shows at the castle. It was impressive seeing owls flying in the center court. The bald eagle wasn’t part of a show, but he was squawking away when the falconer showed us some of the owls up close. We thought the eagle was upset, but the falconer claimed he was just trying to say hello. The day ended with a display of the trebuchet, the world’s largest catapult. It was funny watching the soldiers running in what looked like a giant hamster wheel to fling the flaming ball across the field.
