Warwick Castle...

Jimmy had some work to do on our last day in the countryside, so he missed out on a fun day at Warwick Castle (pronounced Warick). This massive castle was originally built out of wood in the 11th century. It was then rebuilt out of stone in the 12th century with many additions and renovations over the centuries. Amazingly, it was owned by one family from 1759 until 1978, who sold out to an entertainment company.
The views from the ramparts were lovely of the city of Warwick and surrounding countryside.
