Stage 9: Keld to Reeth

There is no doubt that we walked across more farm fields on this stage than on any other.

This stage also passed through several small villages. We crossed the bridge in Gunnerside just in time as sheep hogged up the entire road just moments later.

We were thrilled to find that Gunnerside also had a tea room where we enjoyed cider and cake in the back garden.
