Rather than taking the shortest route back to Dublin, we took the scenic route south towards Cork. We made a few stops along the way, including along this lake.
This stop is called the
Ladies View, supposedly stemming from the admiration of the spot by Queen Victoria’s Ladies in Waiting on their visit in 1861.
Our ladies also appreciated the view.
