At the end of June, we were happy to host Lauren and Jason from North Carolina for an overnight visit. They had been in London for Jason’s parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and stopped by to see us on their way to Paris.
In an effort to entertain 10-year-old Cohen and 7-year-old Anneka, we went to Madurodam, the Dutch miniatures park in The Hague.
Anneka still carries a Nintje stuffy that we gave her years ago.
In addition to enjoying the miniatures that depicted the major sites in Holland, we enjoyed the indoor immersive attractions that took us back in time. The kids especially loved shooting cannons.
