Looking Up in London...

After meeting up with Sophie, I took a long walk across London and made a concerted effort to look up and take in the views from higher up. Square the Block, a twisted stone sculpture by Richard Wilson in 2009, was on the corner of London’s School of Economics, where I was meeting Camilla for lunch.

After lunch in Camilla’s building, I walked back to the hotel via Old Spitalfields Market. Along the way, I spotted this pub in a skinny Tudor building...

and some impressive columns.

Rather than focus solely on traditional shots of St. Paul’s Cathedral, built in 1697, I found its reflection across the street...

...where I happened upon a bridal shoot.

It was fun to see skyscrapers from a new perspective...

...including The Gherkin, built in 2003 with 41-floors.

This impressive building was very close to our hotel. Built in 1922 as the Port of London Authority Headquarters, hundreds of people flocked here each day to pay their shipping dues. Now it is a Four Seasons Hotel.
