Thames Day 3: Beyond the Path...

Since there is no public transport to the barrier, Jimmy and I weren’t finished walking yet as we had to retrace some of our steps...

...which gave me a chance to catch a photo of the barrier in this soft golden light.

This time when we walked past the CEMEX cement factory it was in full swing and we were fascinated.

Here is the sand coming off the ship...

...and moving across the conveyor belt over our heads.

We walked back to the O2 where we caught the overground to Camilla and Tristan’s neighborhood.

I wasn’t thrilled about Jimmy’s choice to walk through the park at night, but the view was worth it. Having dinner and catching up with Camilla and Tristan was a nice way to end a long day.
