From the summit of The Law, we saw ruins in the distance.
The following morning, Gillian and I visited those ruins: Tantallon Castle. Built around 1350, it was used as a coastal fortress until about 1650.
The castle itself had been closed for quite some time awaiting masonry inspections, but we enjoyed wandering around the grounds.
