Another Beautiful Hotel...

It was strange driving up a narrow alley between buildings made of mud in the town of Agdz. Even Mustafa seemed unsure whether the minibus would make it through. What a surprise to find this paradise on the other side of the non-descript outer doors of Dar Qamar (the house of the moon), a wonderful small hotel with just seven rooms. The French owners utilized local craftsman and traditional techniques to renovate the old adobe house. Although we were curious to see the surrounding neighborhood, we enjoyed this view from the patio so much that we just hung out here for the rest of the day.
The pool was quite cold, but the kids still had to try it.
The nighttime lighting was especially lovely. It was a bit too chilly to eat dinner outside, but we were able to enjoy breakfast outdoors.
