Getting Ready for Dutch Nash Hash...

That Friday morning, Melissa and Pieter came along with me to Reinhardt’s so we could help load the van with beer and food. Then we hitched rides to Lelystad to set up the boat where we’d be manning the registration table.
Set up included stuffing the goodie bags, which were cool waterproof bags—another one of Reinhardt’s excellent ideas. Most importantly, each bag contained a roll of toilet paper. Everyone also got an awesome purple running shirt designed by Inga.
Thought it was pretty funny that a bridal couple asked if they could borrow the boat for a few minutes for a photo shoot.
Of the four ships chartered for the weekend to house and transport the 120 hashers, our ship, the Vrijheid (Freedom), was the last to arrive at Lelystad Harbor.
As you can see, the room that Jimmy and I shared with the girls wasn’t exactly spacious, but it was comfortable. Luckily, the limited number of toilets and showers that we shared with the other 30 hashers on board, proved not to be a problem.
