Walking the Plank...

All four ships anchored off the coast of Marken.
The lead pirate had a wicked plan to see if the waterproof bags were really waterproof. Each Ballbreaker was to put their dry running shoes and clothes in their bag and then the bags were tied together.
Imagine when the Ballbreakers discovered that the only way to get to the start of their trail was to jump overboard and swim ashore, dragging the bags along with them.
Here’s the two pirates and two Ballbreakers from our ship...
...and a bunch of Ballbreakers from Alan’s ship.
Once ashore, the entire group was able to change into their dry shoes and clothes, and put their wet stuff into the beer van. As you can see, there was a pretty large group willing to go along with Jimmy’s crazy plan. They ran through Marken towards Monnickendam, while the other three ships were sailing there. Once we arrived in Monnickendam, the Long runners, which I was one of, set off on a trail that eventually merged with the Ballbreakers so we could all run around the adorable town of Monnickendam. We then went back to the boats for lunch and a ride to Volendam. In the meantime, the Medium runners and the Walkers all got on one boat which went to Volendam for some relaxing time before the rest of us arrived. Lots of logistics for Jimmy’s complex trail, but everything worked perfectly.
