A Winter Boat Ride...

We were very honored to be invited to Ana and Theo’s combined birthday party aboard an Amsterdam canal boat. Several other hashers were there along with a variety of friends and work colleagues. We knew that the canals could get insanely busy with tour boats during the Light Festival, but our captain knew exactly what to do to allow us to see the installations as well as many quieter canals.

The moon had been full the night before and put on an impressive show for us.

We made a stop at a catering company that specializes in delivery to boats. Their appetizers were quite impressive.
