We happened upon a riverfront bar next to these funny penguins (with not such a funny message warning against the dangers of climate change and plastic consumption—they are made of recycled bottles) while in search for a cocktail that first afternoon.
We didn’t know that pineapple carpaccio existed, but apparently it does and was very pretty. After our failed attempt to have a vegan dinner, we happened upon the R. Jelinek Original Czech Distillery. The onsite museum was already closed, but luckily the tasting bar was still open. Our dinner was definitely not vegan with lots of cheese and local liquor.
Afterwards we met up with Reinhardt and Inga for a drink. When we got back to the hotel at 12:30 a.m., our plan to go to sleep didn’t last long. I read on the Eurohash Facebook group that some hashers were at a bar less than two minutes from our hotel, so we headed back out. A few beers later and we volunteered to bring the very drunk Eurohash organizer back to our room to sleep on the couch.
