We were glad that we followed our friend’s advice to visit the Museum of Communism, as it was an excellent museum.
According to Wikipedia, it was founded by an American and opened in 2001. Its presents an immersive look at life behind the Iron Curtain in post-World War II Czechoslovakia, concentrating on Prague...
…with lots of artifacts, including artwork, photographs and interviews. It was a bit heavy on reading, but taught us a lot about another chapter of history that we knew little.
We didn’t go into the National Gallery, built in 1891, but did capture this photo of it...

Was surprised and excited to see a Marks & Spencer as I thought they’d closed all of the stores outside of the UK. Couldn’t resist going into the Food Hall to pick up some drinks and snacks.
Was also surprised to see very little urban art.
