Grim Dorm Life...

After a nap on the return bus trip, we stopped back in our dorm room. While the view was very nice...
…the dorm itself was pretty grim. Luckily our room was clean, but we felt sorry for the students that would live there for nine months out of the year while having to commute to the technical university in the city.
Of course, it didn’t take us long to trash our room.
Jimmy was kind to do our laundry. That first night, before Eurohash officially started, we had the dorm suite to ourselves. The following day we found out that we were sharing with XL, the GM of the Hague Hash, and her then boyfriend, Paralimpdick, who were great roommates.
Six years earlier we had stayed at dorms in Krakow and don’t remember them feeling so depressing.
Clearly someone was proud enough of their graffiti in an elevator to sign their name, but failed to get someone to check their English first.
The elevators were pretty dodgy and a harriette got stuck in one, so we often used the stairs.
We walked to the big mall about 15 minutes away and picked up some dinner, breakfast items and Czech bubbly, which Jimmy enjoyed popping open out of our dorm room window.
