Back to Senso-ji...

After the museum, I made my way back to Asakusa to buy the girls some kimono robes; perhaps it was because this was the most touristy spot we visited in Japan that it was also one of the best places to shop. It was a beautiful clear day, so I took some more photos.

After buying some beautiful robes, I went in search of one of the foods I’d missed trying thus far: takoyaki. These battered octopus balls are cooked in a special pan that’s similar to a Dutch poffertje pan. I was happy to find a kiosk that specialized in these yummy treats.
