Finding Urban Art and Signs in Amsterdam...

Back in the pre-coronavirus days when tourism was running rampant across Amsterdam, the local government implemented a marketing campaign aimed specifically at men from 18 to 35 years old to inform them of newly enforced fines for peeing in the street (or canal)…

…littering...

…and drinking in certain public areas. For the first time, we noticed separate signs with the cost of the fines clearly stated in Dutch and English all over the Red Light District.

We also spotted some anti-racism signs.

Wish I could remember exactly which building had this warning.

Pretty sure that we’d all rather get La Grippe, which is the flu, rather than COVID-19. 

We saw this sign several times: If you feel nothing when you look at this then you’re probably a psychopath.

Common signs we saw on train platforms were for mondkapje (which translates to mouth cap and could be why lots of people don’t bother to cover their nose) and keeping distance.
