While I was walking to meet up with Jimmy, I spotted this little guy being pulled along on a sled... 

…while his brother was riding on his strider bike, clearly not a normal mode of transport on ice

Even more unusual was seeing this guy cycling on the ice. 

The smaller canals were busy with skaters...

…which is where I spotted Jimmy.
