Walking on Water...

It didn’t take long for some of the small canals to freeze. It was interesting to see a variety of footprints and drawings appear.

On this small portion, the footprints were only from birds with one of the culprits caught on the scene. 

As the Vliet began to freeze, it was fun to see birds seemingly walking on water.

It seemed like the birds were holding a pool party as they gathered together in the unfrozen parts of the Vliet. 

Two days later and those pools were also frozen over.

This waterfront house has lots of birdhouses in the yard, which led to a lot of birds flocking around when the Vliet started to freeze.
