Focusing on Trees...

It’s incredible how much more majestic barren trees look against a bright blue sky. Here’s several shots of trees in Leiden. 

This massive tree was in an old cemetery that we had never visited before...

…and this glowing tree stands next to where Bootjuh is moored.

Since we don’t see colorful sunsets very often, I always appreciate even the smallest glimmers of pink in the sky. 

Back in our village, I liked how shadows of trees looked on the snow covered canal.
