Eventually we left the historic center and crossed the River Wensum to head to a viewpoint overlooking the city.
Ironically, the viewpoint that Veronica took me to was not the same one that I’d visited on my own back in 2016.
She was surprised when I brought her to Kett’s Heights as she’d never been there before.
Our timing was perfect to catch the sunset as we ventured back into town.
