The following day we walked over to the Queen Victoria Market, which opened in 1878. There were several sections, including a historic building with small stores...
....a huge farmer’s market...
...and a large souvenir market with crazy low prices.
Although we didn’t ride the trams very often because we preferred to walk, I was so impressed that they were free in the city center in order to discourage folks from driving.
