Food in Asakusa...

It was an incredibly hot day, so we were very tempted by the posters for ice cream; no idea how they can offer such a variety of flavors from a single soft ice cream machine.

Had sweet potato ice cream for the first time and loved it!

Most restaurants include colorful photos on their menus and post them outside. Many of the larger restaurants include full-scale models of their food; this window display was particularly nice.

We had some of these fresh-baked rice crackers.
