Stage 13: Osmotherley to Claybank Top
We had another delicious kipper breakfast. After I mentioned that I love how kippers taste when going down but not so much when they make me burp, the innkeeper said she had a cure: I just had to eat strawberry jam during the same meal. Although strawberry burps would have been preferable, the jam did nothing to prevent the kipper burps. It was sprinkling lightly when we set off.
That morning we crossed into our third, and final, national park: North York Moors. This large park has three types of landscape: green pastures, brown and purple heather moorland, and woodland.
The C2C eventually merged with the Cleveland Way.This sign just cracked me up.
