C2C Day 16: Big Hill Ahead...

Stage 16: Egton Bridge to Robin Hood’s Bay
Soon after leaving Grosmont, we hit our final big hill. Unlike previous hills, this one was on a road with a sign informing us of its 33% grade. To put things in perspective, Lombard Street in San Francisco, the world’s most crooked street, has a 27% gradient.
To make matters worse, the hill continued for a mile. Of course, it doesn’t look too daunting here, but it wasn’t a lot of fun.
We were happy when we finally saw the C2C sign leading us across the Moors to Littlebeck.
