C2C Day 16: One Last Waterfall...

Stage 16: Egton Bridge to Robin Hood’s Bay
After lunch, we were back into the woods. Although the path was dry here, we encountered a fair bit of mud.
What a pleasant surprise when we came across Falling Foss Tea Garden. A local family purchased the historic Midge Hall, built in 1780, and renovated it to be their family home. They then built this whimsical tea garden on the grounds next to the waterfall.
It was great to dry off with some hot chocolate and cake, and make use of their loo.
Our last waterfall was Falling Foss at 67 feet (20 meters) tall.
