Stage 16: Egton Bridge to Robin Hood’s Bay

Since it was sprinkling, we were on the lookout for somewhere to provide some shelter while we ate our final packed lunch. Perhaps it was fitting that we once again found an open church with a note inviting us to make ourselves comfortable.

The Littlebeck Methodist Chapel was small and simple, but more importantly: open, inviting and dry.

There wasn’t a table, but there were warm drinks and plenty of pews. While we appreciated the hospitality, none of us felt the overwhelming need to convert.
