EBC 2: Hillary Suspension Bridge...

We started encountering porters carrying a wide variety of goods on some of the bridges.

The highest suspension bridge in the area was the Hillary Bridge, named in honor of Sir Edmund Hillary, the first non-Nepalese to climb Everest in 1953.

At 370 feet (113 meters) long and 425 feet (130 meters) high, it isn’t the highest in the country but was our highest.
