Loved this Banksy-style Stormtrooper vs Koalas street art.
The remains of the Yale-Columbia Refractor, built in 1925 and moved here in 1956, made for some cool photography.
We wandered around the grounds a bit......and spotted this little fellow.
Jane had mentioned that driving near dusk was dangerous and, sure enough, just as we were heading home, several kangaroos jumped out in front of her car. Luckily she was on the lookout and spotted them in plenty of time to avoid a collision.
That evening we went out for dinner with Gene to the local Polish Club for pierogies, one of my favorite foods. The eggplant ones were delicious! Other evenings we had dinner at their house, sometimes with their kids and sometimes on our own. The whole family seems to love to cook, which made for a nice variety of meals.
