Porters Pass...

It was great that Ashlynn could join us for a hike and it was really convenient that Porters Pass, one of the oldest tracks in the Blue Mountains dating back to 1888, started at the bottom of our road.
The trail was easy and the scenery beautiful.
Ashlynn couldn’t resist climbing on some giant boulders with Jane.
As usual, I was happy to stay on solid ground and photograph them.
However, when we came across another outcropping with some people picnicking on top, Ashlynn talked me into climbing up as well.
Glad that there’s evidence that I did indeed make it to the top...
...and that we managed to get a photo of the three of us.
The fact that you can see my shadow at the bottom proves that it was easier to get down than it looks here.
